  1. East Lake Desire House Fire Video – Here is another article with video of the fire taken by Karen Seldon’s daughter directly across the lake. http://www.nwcn.com/statenews/

. Karen reports that she saw it took the fire dept almost 15 minutes to get there, and by then the second structure was burning, (from jumping flames). The fire dept went down the wrong side of the lake which delayed them getting to the fire. They made it just in time though to help neighbors save Ron and put out the fire. 2. Ron Lampard’s Condition – The Vacca’s visited Ron at Harbor View on Saturday.  Ron is still on a ventilator and sedated.  They talked with his daughter and cousin from North Seattle, and they wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped Ron.  Susan Hill, who works at Valley Medical, called the hospital recently to check on his condition, and he has been since upgraded from critical to stable condition.  He is still in the CCU (Critical Care Unit), but he is doing better and should be transferred to a regular room in a few days.  The burns on his back are pretty severe and the smoke inhalation is why he is still on a ventilator.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Please contact our Greeter, Susan Hill, bellafloragirl@yahoo.com with any well wishes for a community card.
